Represent the City of Maple Grove in the criminal prosecution of non-felony offenses
Initial case review
Drafting complaints
Arraignments
Pretrial and omnibus hearings
Jury trial
Conducting trainings for law enforcement
Acting as legal advisor for the Maple Grove Police Department
Build and maintain strong partnerships with law enforcement and other key stakeholders

Qualification

Criminal prosecutionCourtroom experienceLegal advisingCase reviewTraining law enforcement

Required

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in the State of Minnesota
Experience in criminal law and prosecution
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Commitment to public service and community engagement
