Responsibilities
Prepare concept, schematic design, design development and construction documents
Design switchgear, substations, transformers, Remote Instrument Enclosures, and Building power systems
Conduct code research and incorporate applicable requirements into the design
Conduct material research and compile data for the project
Conduct field surveys
Prepare project specifications
Communicate with project team and coordinate work
Develop cost estimates and proposals
Participate in presentations to customers
Experience with instrumentation, control system design or configuration a plus
Electrical Heat Tracing experience is a plus
Qualification
Required
10+ Years of Experience
BS in Electrical Engineering
Professional License (Electrical) in state of Texas
Strong experience with ETAP Electrical Power System Analysis software
Experience with power distribution and subsystems, including 480V and 13kV
Demonstrated experience in technical execution on both FEL/FEED and EPC projects in the chemical and petrochemical industry
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Self-motivating, self-managing individual
Preferred
Experience with SKM Electrical Software a plus
Experience estimating labor and material efforts and preparing proposals related to Electrical Engineering jobs is a plus
Experience with instrumentation, control system design or configuration a plus
Electrical Heat Tracing experience is a plus
