They are seeking a motivated Staff Tax Accountant to assist with global tax compliance, business licensing, and audits, while maintaining accurate tax records and ensuring compliance with evolving tax regulations.

Responsibilities

Assist with US and international tax compliance

Prepare reconciliations for general ledger tax accounts

Perform product taxability research and communicate necessary changes

Assist with resolving tax notices and assessments from taxing authorities

Assist in analyzing new tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements, and implementing those that impact tax compliance

Prepare tax journal entries as required

Assist with registering new retail store locations

Assist with the preparation of annual property tax filings

Assist with tax research projects as needed

Assist with income and sales tax audits as required

Perform other tasks, duties and special projects as needed
