Responsibilities

Leading the execution of embedded software on programs to meet assigned objectives in a LEAN environment

Create parameters to make decisions

Apply concepts to issues of significant complexity

Solve problems through immediate action or short-term planning

Demonstrate significant domain expertise guiding others in the design, implementation, and testing of open and closed loop control systems and/or embedded software resulting in a digital product for engine applications

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college

Minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering

This role requires the successful candidate to obtain and maintain US Government Security Clearance; prerequisite for a security clearance is U.S. citizenship

In depth knowledge of control theory, signal processing, embedded systems, and software development

Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, as well as modeling tools such as MATLAB/Simulink

Takes independent responsibility for assigned deliverables

Has the ability to break down problems and estimate time for development tasks

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

High level of attention to detail and accuracy
