They are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to develop and execute strategies for corrosion monitoring solutions, deliver technical presentations, and collaborate with engineering teams to meet project goals.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategies to expand adoption of corrosion monitoring solutions across industries including oil & gas, petrochemicals, power generation, and manufacturing

Deliver technical presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations customized to customer requirements

Evaluate corrosion mechanisms, material degradation, and severity across a wide range of assets and environments

Produce technical drawings, schematics, calculations, and spreadsheets to support project design and implementation

Obtain required product registrations, approvals, and certifications

Partner with internal engineering, manufacturing, and product development teams to ensure customer specifications and project goals are met

Advise clients on the selection, installation, operation, and maintenance of corrosion monitoring systems

Monitor industry trends, standards, and competitive technologies to support product positioning and innovation

Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events

Travel domestically and internationally to support customers, projects, and business development activities

Identify prospective customers, generate new business opportunities, and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline

Demonstrated, hands-on experience in corrosion monitoring (required)

Strong working knowledge of corrosion monitoring methods and technologies, including ER/LPR systems, corrosion coupons, electrochemical techniques, ultrasonic thickness measurement, and injection and sampling systems

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to interface effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines

Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, Pro/ENGINEER (Creo), AutoCAD, mechanical drafting, and ERP systems (Epicor preferred)

U.S. citizenship required due to government contract requirements
