Practice Management Coordinator (New York)

Epstein Becker & Green, P.C. is seeking a Practice Management Coordinator to work closely with Practice Managers in coordinating the administrative and business functions of the firm’s core practices. The role involves facilitating communication, implementing best practices, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within each practice.

Law Practice

Responsibilities

Assist the Practice Managers in coordinating operations of each practice to ensure efficiency and productivity, including scheduling meetings and preparing data
Work with the Practice Managers to coordinate the evaluation process for Non-Partner Attorneys and Income Partners, including scheduling meetings, preparing data, and ultimately attending feedback meetings
Assist the Practice Managers with scheduling meetings and preparing data for the attorney billing rate process and the bonus and compensation process for Non-Partner Attorneys and Income Partners
Work closely with Practice Managers to coordinate the Sponsor Program
Assist Practice Managers with tasks and assignments related to Steering Committee Attorney Development working groups, including scheduling meetings and preparing data
Help coordinate and execute integration meetings for new attorneys
Develop relationships with attorneys to be a resource to answer questions and assist Practice Managers with staffing projects as needed
Work with Practice Managers to coordinate projects, the evaluation process, and events for the Summer Associate program
Collaborate with department team members to implement best practices and standardize processes
Maintain all relevant files, including loading relevant materials on OnePoint

Required

College degree required
Prior law firm experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly attentive to detail, extremely organized, results orientated, self-motivated
Strong computer skills
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
Ability to learn new technology
Strong work ethic and able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Customer service orientation and responsive to inquiries
Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred

Prior law firm experience preferred
