They are seeking a motivated Product Development Intern to support their research and development team, providing hands-on experience in developing water treatment equipment and conducting experiments in a laboratory setting.

Responsibilities
Assist in building full-scale and lab-scale hydraulic models using piping, rigging and fabrication techniques
Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses using techniques such as TSS and turbidity analysis
Prepare chemical solutions and samples under guidance from senior staff
Maintain accurate records of experimental data and observations
Support the calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of laboratory equipment
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment
Participate in team discussions and contribute ideas to improve processes
Qualification
Required
Junior or Senior currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Basic understanding of laboratory practices and safety protocols
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs (with accommodations as needed)
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
Effective verbal and written communication abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
A willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and tasks
Preferred
Hands-on experience with general tools and building prototypes (from coursework or prior projects)
