Phlebotomist - Internal Medicine Kinston
ECU Health is a multi-specialty group providing patient-centered care in eastern North Carolina, and they are seeking a Phlebotomist for their Internal Medicine department in Kinston. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for specimen collection, patient education, and maintaining a well-organized laboratory while providing professional service to patients and staff.

Responsibilities
Providing professional and courteous service to all patients, visitors, and employees of our facility
Performing certain clinical tasks that he/she has been approved to perform through an educational or clinical check-off by a qualified member of the staff
Specimen collection
Patient education
Responsible for all clerical duties associated with maintaining a well-organized laboratory
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma, GED or higher
Must be able to communicate effectively
Computer skills include basic data entry and word processing
Preferred
Graduate of an accredited phlebotomy program with at least two years of experience preferred and ASCP or equivalent certification eligible
Two years secretarial experience in a medical facility preferred
