Workforce Development Specialist, AgSTEP/Student Success Specialist

Foundation for California Community Colleges is seeking a Workforce Development Specialist to join their mission of supporting California Community Colleges. This role involves connecting students to program opportunities, maintaining student data, and collaborating with various stakeholders to support the success of AgTech/AgStep programs.

Responsibilities

Interface with students, faculty, department leadership, FoundationCCC staff, community partners and vendors to coordinate the employment opportunities
Plan, coordinate, facilitate, and conduct outreach and recruitment activities, orientations, workshops and events for AgTech/AgStep program participants
Coordinates phases of the grants process, including budgeting, data gathering and maintaining compliance. Serves as liaison person between students, the college district and with other community organizations
Determine student initial and ongoing eligibility for program or services; track individual student and cohort progress, and provide regular reports to management and agencies as requested

Required

Must be a self-starter, quick learner, and highly motivated
Ability to plan, coordinate, and prioritize projects while keeping appropriate personnel apprised of status on a regular basis
