Responsibilities

Own end-to-end product design across multiple surfaces, from early concepts through execution and iteration
Take initiative in a high-trust, ownership-driven environment - identify what matters most and drive work forward independently
Translate complex, data-heavy backend capabilities into simple, intuitive, and scalable user interfaces
Design and iterate on chat-based and table/spreadsheet-style interfaces with a strong focus on clarity, usability, and information density
Identify repeating patterns across the product and abstract them into consistent, reusable interaction and design systems
Partner closely with engineers and product managers, working both synchronously and asynchronously without rigid handoffs
Bring strong product taste and raise the bar by obsessing over details that reduce friction and create fast, satisfying feedback loops
Clearly communicate design decisions, including rationale and tradeoffs, and push back thoughtfully to protect focus and quality

Required

5+ years of relevant product design experience
Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking and high-quality execution
Experience designing chat-based or conversational interfaces
Experience designing table or spreadsheet-style UIs
Proven ability to simplify complex workflows and data-rich experiences
Advanced proficiency in Figma
Experience with prototyping tools (Figma Prototypes, Framer, or similar)
Experience working with design systems and component libraries
Familiarity designing for AI-driven or data-heavy products
Comfort collaborating closely with engineers and understanding modern frontend frameworks

Preferred

Startup experience
B2B product experience (strongly preferred)
Experience designing AI-powered products
Experience building data-heavy or analytical tools
Familiarity with conversational UX patterns
Understanding of how large language models (LLMs) work, including their current capabilities and limitations
