Responsibilities

Determines compliance to test specifications, using methods and procedures from drawings, standard work and diagrams
May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment
May provide guidance to entry level production test technicians and support workers in the execution of production testing tasks
Measure medium complexity hardware
Maintain required certifications
Strengthen knowledge of CAES 6S framework and actively participate in 6S initiatives

Required

High school diploma or GED equivalent
0-1 year of experience working as a Test Technician in a manufacturing/electronics environment
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Timekeeping system, ERP system, Routing, etc.)
Detail-oriented with good manual and eye dexterity (precise)
Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and embrace new challenges
Willingness to take on diverse projects and work with different teams
Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, small tools, or controls
Reach with hands and arms
Sitting. At times, looking through a microscope
Standing or walking for prolonged periods of time
Frequently required to stand; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
Repeat the same movements
Occasionally lifting of light items weighing 5 to 10 pounds
Make quick, precise adjustments to machine controls
Objects weighing 30 pounds or more must be accompanied by automation or second person to avoid injury
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S

Preferred

HS Diploma or GED and additional training or specialized certification
1-2 years' of experience working as a Test Technician in a manufacturing/electronics environment
Experience in defense, aerospace, or military industry
Good manual dexterity and experience/willingness to work using a microscope and small hand-tools
Basic computer skills: Utilization of Microsoft Office Suite, ERP Systems, etc
