Responsibilities
Determines compliance to test specifications, using methods and procedures from drawings, standard work and diagrams
May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment
May provide guidance to entry level production test technicians and support workers in the execution of production testing tasks
Measure medium complexity hardware
Maintain required certifications
Strengthen knowledge of CAES 6S framework and actively participate in 6S initiatives
Perform various tests on products according to test plans and procedures
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues that arise during testing
Document test results and provide clear and concise reports
Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and resolve any issues
Maintain test equipment and ensure its proper functioning
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED equivalent
0-1 year of experience working as a Test Technician in a manufacturing/electronics environment
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Timekeeping system, ERP system, Routing, etc.)
Detail-oriented with good manual and eye dexterity (precise)
Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and embrace new challenges
Willingness to take on diverse projects and work with different teams
Preferred
HS Diploma or GED and additional training or specialized certification
1-2 years' of experience working as a Test Technician in a manufacturing/electronics environment
Experience in defense, aerospace, or military industry
Good manual dexterity and experience/willingness to work using a microscope and small hand-tools
Basic computer skills: Utilization of Microsoft Office Suite, ERP Systems, etc
