Verigent's Enterprise Network Solutions (ENS) organization offers opportunities supporting Department of Defense (DoD) with communication systems modernization projects. As the program subject matter expert, your focus will be leading a team of Engineers and Technicians in the survey, design, and implementation of solutions in support of a large infrastructure modernization program.

Responsibilities

Manage the survey, design, and implementation of systems in support of DoD infrastructure modernizations to include networks, OSP/ISP, Wireless, and other systems

Lead the development of designs and participate in design reviews with the customer

Facilitate technical exchange meetings with the costumer and provide recommendations on possible solutions

Conduct research to identify new technologies that could improve solutions

Managing and coordinating the implementation of new systems

Mentor junior engineers and technicians

Travel to other CACI Locations or Customer Sites as necessary

Requires OCONUS and CONUS travel up to 50%

Perform other duties as required

Cisco Certified Network ProfessionalDoD Approved 8570 certificationNetwork infrastructure modernizationVersa Networks SD-WANMicrosoft VisioInterpersonal skillsOral communicationWritten communication

Required

Expert level knowledge in multiple disciplines with the ability to develop solutions in accordance with Army standards

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field IT, engineering, or technical field. Additional four (4) years of relevant experience allowed in lieu of degree

7-10 years experience as a Lead Engineer or leading projects of similar scope

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent

Must meet DoD Approved 8570 certification requirements for IAT-II

Ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance

Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

Good oral and written communications skills

Experience in using drawing tools such as Microsoft Visio or AutoCAD

Must be willing to obtain a DoD clearance

Preferred

Experience working with Versa Networks SD-WAN and SASE solutions

Experience working large Data Network infrastructure modernization projects

Experience working with DoD customers
