Walmart Canada is seeking a Manager for Production Systems to oversee production scheduling and efficiency. The role involves interacting with production teams, establishing operating procedures, and ensuring compliance with company policies while fostering a culture of belonging among associates.

Responsibilities
On a daily basis plans and schedules production to ensure production is carried out in a productive safe and costefficient manner
Interacts frequently multiple times per shift with onsite Production Support teams and Team Leaders to ensure optimal efficiency flow and throughput
Establishes areaspecific standard operating procedures and processes and ensures department employees are adequately trained in their proper execution
Reviews all associated reports and documentation for accuracy and consistency
Sets and communicates departmental objectives
Provides direction support and coaching to Team Leaders in the fulfillment of their responsibilities and the accomplishment of objectives
Monitors and analyzes the daily productivity report key performance indicators and employee productivity reports
Prepares action plans as appropriate to address any areas of substandard performance
Works closely with onsite Human Resources associates to address employee performance issues in accordance with company policies and procedures
Reviews and audits current budget expenditures for cost savings or efficiency opportunities
Reviews staffing schedules and allocation of resources to ensure levels are consistent with budget forecasts
Attends andor conducts planning meetings task forces and workgroups with other Area Managersother Distribution Center facilities to review common issues and identify opportunities for improvement
Facilitates a variety of departmental and operational meetings to ensure open twoway communication
Coordinates completes and oversees jobrelated activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs identifying and communicating goals and objectives building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results identifying and addressing improvement opportunities and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training mentoring assigning duties providing recognition and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission values and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices

Qualification
Required
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as engineering, business, operations management, or logistics)
Option 2: At least 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role in a production or operations environment, preferably in a distribution center, pharmacy automation, or a similar high-volume, fast-paced setting
Option 3: 4 years of experience in an automation, manufacturing, warehousing, or pharmacy facility
To complete a Board-approved program or Pharmacy Technician University program
Must become a registered pharmacy technician in state of practice within one year of job entry
Preferred
Knowledge of production processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity software, with the ability to use technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency
