Contech Control Services is seeking team-oriented professionals with proven knowledge of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) configuration. The Control Systems Specialist will be responsible for design, specification, selection, configuration, and testing services related to control systems, along with managing automation projects and ensuring quality control.

Responsibilities

Responsible for design, specification, selection, configuration, and testing services related to control systems, including PLC, HMI, serial interface, and networking
Plan, budget, organize, and control an important segment of automation projects
May be responsible to assist with control philosophy and/or functional descriptions
Communicate progress to project manager for inclusion into reports to client
Responsible for quality of the control system portion of the project

Allen-Bradley PLCsHMI configurationWonderwareDCS systemsSIS systemsChemical industry experiencePE licenseMicrosoft software knowledgeProject communicationTeam-oriented

Required

10+ years of hands-on configuration experience related to Allen-Bradley PLCs, Allen-Bradley PanelView, and Wonderware are required
Knowledge of Microsoft software products is required
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S without any sponsorship

Preferred

BS or AES degree in Engineering is preferred
Configuration experience with other PLC, HMI, DCS, or SIS systems is a plus
Demonstrated experience in technical execution on both FEL/FEED and EPC projects in the chemical and petrochemical industry
PE license is a plus
