Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Kingston HealthCare is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. In this role, you’ll help residents strengthen communication, improve swallowing, and enhance cognitive abilities while working in a supportive, resident-centered environment.

Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to resident needs
Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to support functional communication and safe swallowing
Document assessments, daily notes, and progress accurately in the EHR system
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and families to ensure coordinated care
Educate residents, caregivers, and staff on communication strategies and swallowing techniques
Ensure therapy practices comply with Indiana regulations and Kingston’s standards of care
Qualification
Required
Active Indiana Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills
Compassionate, resident-first approach with a focus on positive outcomes
Preferred
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates considered
Experience in skilled nursing, rehab, or long-term care preferred (new grads welcome)
