Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment at treatment plants and remote sites, ensuring all work meets safety standards and electrical codes
Diagnose and repair issues with a variety of electrical systems and equipment including variable frequency drives (VFDs), soft starts, and motor actuated valves
Carry out scheduled inspections, testing, and service to extend equipment life, reduce downtime, and keep facilities operating efficiently
Operate and interpret multimeters, meggers, oscilloscopes, and other testing equipment to verify performance and pinpoint system issues
Interpret schematics, blueprints, and engineering documents to complete installations, repairs, and troubleshooting accurately
Work independently, communicate clearly with your team and supervisors, and provide updates to ensure safe and coordinated operations
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
4 years of experience working with electrical systems (experience with wastewater systems is a plus)
Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards
A valid driver's license with a good driving record
