Responsibilities

Spearhead the identification and evaluation of funding opportunities that align with team and organizational goals. Support the creation of forward-looking funding pipeline to inform long-term planning and resource allocation
Assist in the development, writing, and timely submission of proposals for federal, state, and private funding opportunities, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and compliance requirements
Create and edit content for newsletters, social media, and other communications channels. Assist in the development and design of presentations and slide decks. Maintain and update SharePoint site to promote visibility of new grants, services, and resources for members
Develop written materials (e.g., guides, toolkits, briefs) in collaboration with program leads by synthesizing information from diverse sources to support Funded Partnerships programming
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support Funded Partnerships initiatives. Maintain project plans, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of key milestones and deliverables
Ensure strong handoff once a proposal has been won to internal subject matter, financial, compliance and implementation teams leveraging change management skillsets

Required

Bachelor's Degree English, communications, journalism, public health, business, social work, healthcare or related field
5+ years Minimum 5 years of work experience related to proposal writing or program management, specifically grant writing and research with grant proposal writing
Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute workplans, communicate effectively with hospital partners, coordinate the work of experts and consultants, and develop and manage to budgets
Strong knowledge of quality improvement initiatives
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams)
Strong MS Project skills as well as strong skills with statistics package such as SPSS or SAS
Strong knowledge of standard workplace software and collaboration tools, and ability to contribute to data integrity, operational efficiency, and digital process improvements; willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
Effective ability to manage multiple, cross-departmental programs/projects simultaneously, ensuring they are executed on time, within scope and within budget
Strong knowledge of budgeting and tracking expenses
Strong leadership skills that educate, guide and mentor colleagues to meet goals
Effective written and verbal communications skills to interact with and provide clear, concise information to colleagues and members; proven ability to prepare documentation, deliver updates, and participate actively in group discussions
Effective interpersonal skills to develop and foster positive relationships with internal colleagues and external contacts that drive operational success through constructive interactions
