Responsibilities
Provide academic tutoring and homework help to middle and high school students on-site
Administer academic assessments to students as required
Must be proficient in high school-level Algebra and Geometry
Collect and maintain accurate program data based on grant requirements
Track student attendance and academic progress
Assist in preparing reports for funders and stakeholders
Assist the Program Manager with program delivery and logistics
Assist the Program Manager in research, planning and executing enrichment activities
Assist the Program Manager with planning, shopping, and preparing meals for students
Support classroom management and create a structured, safe, and welcoming environment
Assist with student registration requirements
Maintain regular and effective communication with parents and caregivers
Build positive relationships with students, families, and community partners
Attend community events and resource fairs as a program representative
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
Proficiency in high school-level Algebra and Geometry is essential
Proficiency in Google applications
Minimum one year of experience working with adolescents in a classroom or out-of-school time setting
Strong classroom management skills
Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals and groups
Maturity, reliability, and professionalism
Preferred
Education or related field preferred
Spanish language skills are a plus
