Law Practice
Responsibilities
Prepare and file family-based immigration applications and petitions, including:
I-130, I-485, I-765, I-864, I-131, N-400, and related forms
Draft cover letters, affidavits, and supporting documentation
Communicate with clients in Spanish and English to obtain information and documents
Independently manage assigned caseloads and track deadlines
Prepare and assist with responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs)
Support attorneys with case preparation and follow-up
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality in all filings
Qualification
Required
1–2+ years of experience as an immigration paralegal
Hands-on experience with family-based immigration cases
Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
Strong knowledge of USCIS forms, procedures, and filing requirements
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment
Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred
Portuguese language skills (a plus)
Strong legal writing skills (a plus)
Prior experience in an immigration law firm
Familiarity with immigration case management software
