Radio Technician
Global Medical Response (GMR) is dedicated to delivering compassionate, quality medical care, primarily in emergency and patient relocation services. The Radio Technician is responsible for the frequency coordination, installation, troubleshooting, service, and maintenance of radio systems at various locations and within the communications center.

Responsibilities
Installs and maintains all equipment at tower sites as well as the Communications Center
Provides support to the IT department by evaluating/programming computer routers and networking systems within the communications center
Assists the Avionics department for programming aircraft radios to the proper dispatch frequencies
Coordinates the licensing process of radio frequencies with the (FCC) Federal Communications Commission
Maintains accurate records of communications systems, equipment performance and work accomplished as well as any information as required
Qualification
Required
Minimum of two years of experience as a wireless communication technician
High school diploma or equivalent, required
Vocational technical training in wireless communications systems and electronics
Knowledge in the use and service of Zetron dispatch consoles
Knowledge in Motorola radios, Cisco routers and dispatch voice recorders
