Responsibilities
Define and drive infrastructure architecture with a focus on security requirements and best practices
Collaborate with Information Security teams to integrate security requirements into infrastructure projects
Develop standards, policies, and implementation plans for identity and security architecture
Ensure alignment of infrastructure architecture with organizational goals and compliance frameworks
Promote operational efficiency through standardization of security tools and practices
Facilitate documentation of existing systems architecture and recommend improvements
Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to architecture and engineering teams
Design with automation and operational efficiency in mind
Build strong relationships across Infrastructure and IT Security teams to enhance collaboration
Qualification
Required
Experience with identity infrastructure and synchronization technologies (Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP, SAML, SCIM, MIM)
Knowledge of identity provisioning/deprovisioning standards and HRIS-to-IdP integrations
Familiarity with authentication protocols and access controls (GPO, MFA, ADFS, Conditional Access)
Experience with Microsoft security products (Entra Identity Governance, Defender, Purview) and competing solutions
Understanding of endpoint management tools and standards (Intune, DLP, Defender for Cloud Apps)
Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, Cribl, Cloudwatch)
Ability to engage senior leadership on technical trade-offs, risk mitigation, and best practices
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred
Experience in large enterprise environments (financial services, insurance, or similar)
Exposure to multi-cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (CIS, NIST)
