Insurance Operations Manager | P&C Insurer
Global Accounting Network is seeking a seasoned insurance operations professional to serve as a Group Operations Manager. This role is accountable for consolidating and overseeing financial and operational data across multiple international entities to ensure standardized processing, data quality, and consistent reporting.

Responsibilities
Oversee the timely, accurate, and consistent processing of financial and operational data received from external trading partners across U.S., U.K., and European entities
Ensure reliability and integrity of dashboards and key performance indicators across all business units, products, and lines
Drive continuous improvement of global operational and production processes through strong process design and optimization
Act as a financial and operational subject matter expert on enterprise-wide initiatives and cross-functional projects
Support data governance initiatives, ensuring alignment with established data standards across reporting and analytics
Apply data cataloging and master data management principles to maintain a cohesive data environment
Maintain and update reference data for new programs and products in accordance with organizational standards
Deliver accurate and timely operational reporting, analysis, and KPIs to internal stakeholders
Evaluate bordereaux validation controls and recommend enhancements based on analytical findings
Utilize offshore teams to support month-end close activities, reporting, and analytical deliverables
Assign, prioritize, and manage workloads to ensure deadlines and service expectations are met
Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation for offshore teams, new hires, and internal partners
Conduct quality assurance reviews on work produced by offshore resources
Provide ongoing training and professional development to offshore teams and internal staff
Qualification
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Insurance, Risk Management, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline
Minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience
Strong knowledge of financial operations, accounting concepts, and analytical frameworks
Experience with business intelligence platforms and financial systems (e.g., Power BI, Oracle, NetSuite)
Solid understanding of insurance accounting, general ledger activity, and reconciliation processes
Advanced analytical skills with the ability to convert data into actionable business insights
Demonstrated success managing projects and implementing process improvements
Familiarity with industry performance metrics, including loss ratios, incurred losses, IBNR, and premium measures
Proven ability to build and sustain effective partnerships across business functions
Experience working with policy administration and claims systems
Exposure to multi-currency environments and global financial reporting
Strong enterprise data management and business analysis capabilities
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Power Query; experience with Power BI and SQL
Understanding of relational databases, data models, record structures, and file formats (CSV, XML, fixed-width files)
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Demonstrated expertise in process optimization and project execution
Knowledge of ETL/ELT workflows, data pipelines, and API integrations
Hands-on experience with financial systems implementations, enhancements, or data conversions
Professional certifications such as CPCU, AIDA, PMP, Six Sigma, or IDMA
Prior responsibility for managing offshore or distributed teams
Familiarity with the carrier–MGA/MGU program operating model
Background in risk management, controls, or audit-related function
