Responsibilities

Provides front-line support store-level and corporate technology systems across 10+ Whataburger locations
Ensures reliable operation of point-of-sale (POS), network, IP camera system, kiosk, drive-thru, and back-office systems
Works closely with the IT manager to maintain up time, troubleshoot incidents, and deploy new store equipment
Plays a key role in supporting MTOH’s fully cloud-based environment in Azure and Microsoft 365
Troubleshoots network connectivity and hardware issues involving Meraki switches, access points, and desktops
Supports Azure Entra ID and Intune-managed devices
Manages user accounts, credentials, and device provisioning within Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
Performs both remote and on-site diagnostics for restaurant hardware and software systems
Maintains and updates the IT asset inventory, supporting hardware lifecycle tracking and replacement planning
Assists in the implementation of IT projects and initiatives defined by the IT manager, including SharePoint, RingCentral, LMS, new restaurant hardware rollouts, and in-house intranet

Required

Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent certifications
2-5 years of IT support, preferably in retail, QSR, or multi-site environments
Valid driver's license with good driving record
Experience in providing tier 1-2 technical support for restaurants and corporate systems
Proficiency in cabling and terminations (Ethernet, Coax, and Fiber)
Troubleshoot network connectivity and hardware issues involving Meraki switches, access points, and desktops
Support Azure Entra ID and Intune-managed devices
Manage user accounts, credentials, and device provisioning within Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
Perform both remote and on-site diagnostics for restaurant hardware and software systems
