Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems in hybrid cloud environments
Develop and manage Ansible playbooks for configuration management, provisioning, and orchestration
Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications on OpenShift
Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams to integrate deployment pipelines
Monitor system performance, ensure compliance, and implement best practices for scalability and reliability
Automate routine tasks using scripting and infrastructure-as-code principles
Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
Support disaster recovery planning, patch management, and system upgrades
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in Linux system administration, with a focus on Red Hat technologies
Strong hands-on experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management
Proficiency in deploying and managing applications on Red Hat Linux & OpenShift
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Familiarity with containerization, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines
Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages
Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, and other DevOps tools
Red Hat certifications (RHCE, RHCSA) preferred but not required
Preferred
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, LogicMonitor, Cribl)
Understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards (CIS, NIST)
Examples of automation and configuration management projects (industry experience outside financial services is acceptable)
