Senior Treasury Analyst
Computershare Canada is a global leader in financial administration, and they are seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst to join their Treasury department. In this role, you will manage complex queries related to cash and liquidity management, corporate debt, foreign exchange, and payments, contributing to the overall financial stability of the company.

Responsibilities
Oversee the administration of bank account structures that facilitates the efficient move of cash through an optimal number of banks and bank accounts. This includes (notional) cash pooling, in-house bank, sweeps between banks
Implement global bank account management processes: management of bank mandates; Know Your Customer activities; opening and closing of accounts; bank fee analysis; and administration of banking portals, dealing with escalations and resolving complex queries
Execute complex Liquidity management processes: short term cash flow forecasting; determining liquidity needs; and interest collection management
Oversee the execution of surplus and deficit cash positions in order to determine cash movements, investments and borrowings
Monitoring daily cash positions and forecasts to ensure sufficient liquidity and make planning and forecasting recommendations
Execute confirmations: Supporting complex trade/ transactions instructions and valuation of financial products
Monitor bank fees, discussions with banks on day-to-day elements and supporting strategic banking relationship activities, resolving complex queries and escalations
Oversee the Execution of payment processes such as: transaction preparation; transaction initiation; payment queries; approvals; transaction flows; transaction settlements; reconciliations; stop cheques; and calculation and payment of interest earned by clients on their investments held by Computershare
Oversee regional periodic reporting of risk, cash balance, cash flow, client balance and margin income. Analyze and reporting on trends and resolve any reporting issues
Execute Treasury accounting processes for month-end and year-end, dealing with escalations and resolving complex queries
Oversee the implementation of regional compliance processes, both with regulatory bodies as well as with treasury policy, and regional due diligence processes in new and existing bank counterparties and perform compliance checks prior to payment release
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
Certified Treasury Professional or Chartered Financial Analyst
Strong in Treasury in a regional environment and the associated regulatory landscape
Strong understanding of the sector that Computershare operates within
Strong communicator at all levels of the organization
