Responsibilities

Qualifies and originates loan applicants for mortgage loan products, including first mortgages, construction loans and home equity products. Obtains necessary and pertinent financial data; conducts analysis of such. Initiates loan process compliant with all applicable standards, policy and procedures

Build relationships with Realtors, Builders, and other referral sources

Provide exceptional service to existing customers while cross-selling and referring to other departments

Facilitate the loan closing process

Work online lead shifts as assigned

Maintains knowledge of all real estate products, underwriting procedures and the mortgage lending industry

Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations applicable to this position

Assists retail lending department in all aspects of retail lending by referring clients or completing transactions

Responsible for security as it applies to this position

Participates in all required BSA training and demonstrates knowledge of BSA relative to job responsibilities

Performs other tasks as assigned
