Responsibilities
Lead and perform detailing for Mechanical Piping, Process Piping, and/or Plumbing systems
Optimize layout/routing, minimize fitting usage, and identify design flaws
Identify opportunities for efficiency and risk reduction
Interpret and extract data from contract documents (plans, specs, submittals)
Model and coordinate in 3D using Revit and CAD tools
Participate in project coordination meetings and collaborate with BIM and management teams
Generate layout point files for Trimble and Topcon
Support other detailers as needed
Maintain constant communication with project stakeholders including PMs, foremen, fabrication shops, and external trades
Manage model uploads, logs, RFIs, and documentation
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
5+ years of relevant field experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Background in Mechanical Piping, Process Piping, and/or Plumbing trades
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Fabrication, Navisworks Manage, BIM 360 Glue & Docs
Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu, BOX, Smartsheet
Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Gmail, Sheets, Forms)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Proficiency in applicable building codes (local, state, international)
Preferred
Experience with Dynamo, Forge, Python, Revit API, C#, VB.net, F#
Trade school education
Spanish language proficiency
