Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking a self-motivated, energetic Patient Aide I to care for Kentucky’s Veterans at the Thomson-Hood Veterans Center, a skilled nursing facility. The role involves assisting residents with various daily activities and ensuring their comfort and care.

Responsibilities

Make beds, pass ice and snacks, transports residents, escorts residents to and from medical appointments, pass towels and washcloths
Train to assist with Feeding and tray set up in dining room
Learn the dietary needs of the residents to prepare tickets for meals
Excellent customer Service Skills
Preform the cleaning of the ice machines, wheelchairs, and refrigerator
Assist with the resident Laundry, stock gloves and other resident supplies as needed in the resident rooms
