Responsibilities

Provide a seller centric support experience with timely resolution through advanced troubleshooting for product issues that Tier 1 support cannot resolve

Take full ownership of complex customer issues, focusing on the core of the customer’s business goals, and providing creative solutions when necessary

Serve as the primary escalation contact for sellers and commercial partners, balancing technical product expertise with clear, seller-friendly communication

Respond with urgency to business-critical issues, following proper escalation procedures and participating in on-call rotations as required

Embrace technical curiosity and develop deep expertise in ATG’s auction software and marketplace integrations, including the backend technology that powers them

Provide informed feedback on new product features from the seller’s perspective and advocate for issue prioritization with strong storytelling and impact assessment

Participate in continual knowledge share with support team members, taking opportunities to teach and guide Tier 1 members through more complex issues and best practices when appropriate

Required

3+ years in a direct customer support or service role, preferably in a technical or SaaS environment

Strong technical problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset

Ability to handle escalations with professionalism, clarity, and empathy

Experience supporting business-critical SaaS or marketplace technologies

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly when explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical users

A keen understanding of product development processes and a curiosity for marketplace technology

Preferred

Knowledge of the auction industry is a strong plus
