The Dealership Accounting Coordinator I will be responsible for processing daily transactions, auditing car deals, and collaborating with store operations to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities
Process Daily Transactions: Handle daily check and credit card deposits and assist with reconciling the cash sales accounting schedule
Audit Car Deals: Review deals for accuracy and completeness using the Deal Checklist before submission to the Accounting Processing Center
Track and Report Issues: Maintain notes on missing or incorrect items in the Booked and Pending report and support compliance tracking
Collaborate with Store Operations: Work with store teams and Business Managers to implement process changes and ensure revenue recognition
Assist with Accounting Schedules: Help maintain reconciled accounting schedules as assigned by the Business Manager
Cross-Train and Provide Backup: Learn the Title & Registration Specialist role to support other accounting functions when needed
Meet Performance Standards: Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in all assigned tasks
Qualification
Required
High School graduate or equivalent required
18 years or older

Prior automotive dealership and CDK experience preferred
High school diploma preferred
1+ years in a dealership environment or experience processing car deals is preferred
