Maintenance Technician & HVAC Experience
KH Properties specializes in the renovation and management of multifamily apartment communities throughout the Midwest and Southeastern United States. They are seeking an experienced HVAC Maintenance Technician to perform skilled repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, ensuring compliance and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities
Perform skilled HVAC repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance to ensure all systems operate efficiently and safely
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues with precision and urgency
Complete work orders independently and document all maintenance activities using email or digital tracking systems
Maintain detailed records of materials, time, and repairs according to company processes
Ensure all HVAC work meets compliance and safety standards, following a structured and consistent approach
Support small property-level projects as needed, prioritizing efficiency and accuracy
Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area with respect for personal and resident spaces
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2–3 years of professional HVAC experience in a residential or multifamily setting
Strong diagnostic and repair skills for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
EPA certification (Type I and II or Universal) required
Proven ability to manage multiple maintenance requests independently with attention to detail
Reliable communication via email or digital reporting

Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform work in varied weather conditions
Ability to stay organized, meet deadlines, and follow established processes in a fast-paced environment

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background screening and other applicable checks, as permitted by state law
