Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities
Engage in safety leadership efforts and encourage/support safe work practices
Drive mill initiatives in the department by engaging employees in improvement activities and work system transformation
Coordinate trials and process experiments to improve the operation
Implement 5S standards in department
Analyze downtime to identify chronic issues and problems that need to be solved
Identify opportunities to reduce process variability that lead to waste
Support project teams with data analysis, advanced analytics, problem solving and presentation of results

Qualification
Required
Mechanical or Construction Management Degree or 1+ years reliability experience with a high school diploma
Engage in safety leadership efforts and encourage/support safe work practices
Drive mill initiatives in the department by engaging employees in improvement activities and work system transformation
Coordinate trials and process experiments to improve the operation
Implement 5S standards in department
Analyze downtime to identify chronic issues and problems that need to be solved
Identify opportunities to reduce process variability that lead to waste
Support project teams with data analysis, advanced analytics, problem solving and presentation of results

M-F assignment, however, the employee must be willing to work alternate schedules occasionally; that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends, and be punctual while doing so
Periodic weekend-duty coverage for the maintenance department
Occasional overnight travel includes flying, driving, riding, or by rail (up to 25%)
Preferred
BS degree in Mechanical or Construction Management Engineering Degree
