This role involves leading the planning and execution of fundraising events while engaging with donors and supporting senior leadership.

Responsibilities
Plan and execute small and large-scale fundraising events, forums, and donor gatherings
Manage all aspects of event logistics including timelines, venues, vendors, materials, and on-site execution
Partner with event honorees, gala chairs, and committees to support donor outreach and track fundraising progress
Prepare and coordinate solicitation mailings, emails, and donor communications
Communicate directly with donors by phone, email, and occasional in-person meetings
Support donor education and engagement through events, marketing materials, and digital outreach
Oversee website updates and social media channels including LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook
Support board and committee meetings through agenda preparation, presentations, follow-up, and ongoing coordination
Recruit, train, and manage volunteers and interns supporting events and special projects
Maintain accurate donor records in Raiser’s Edge and evaluate donor progress with the Executive Director
Recommend and implement new fundraising strategies and initiatives
Provide administrative and operational support to the Executive Director as needed
Qualification
Required
2 to 3+ years of experience in nonprofit development or fundraising
Demonstrated experience supporting or managing fundraising events
Bachelor's degree required
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Experience with Raiser's Edge or another development CRM
Comfortable working fully onsite in a Manhattan office, with occasional flexibility
