They are seeking an experienced Windows Desktop Support Engineer to provide in-person and remote support for their Trading Floor and corporate users, focusing on resolving technical issues and improving the technology platform.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for technical assistance, resolving end-user issues via our ticketing system (ServiceNow), phone, remote support, and desk-side visits

Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, biometric devices) and software (M365 Suite, antivirus, softphones)

Support trading floor systems, including market data feeds (Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, ICE, Fidessa) and voice systems (Cisco, IPC turrets)

Troubleshoot hardware, Windows 11 and application issues

Provide network support and troubleshooting for both wired and wireless configurations

Collaborate with infrastructure and networking teams to investigate the root cause of issues

Qualification

Required

Minimum 2+ years of customer-facing IT support, preferably in a financial services environment (brokerage, hedge fund, or investment bank)

Technical Proficiencies:

Windows 11

Microsoft 365 Suite and basic understanding of endpoint management tools (SCCM, Azure Intune)

Understanding Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy

PowerShell scripting

Understanding of Enterprise cloud infrastructure (Azure)

High school degree required

Must have passed the MS-900 exam or be able to pass it within the first year of employment

Must be authorized to work full time in the U.S., BTIG does not offer sponsorship for work visas of any type

Preferred

Experience supporting C-suite executives and other demanding users

College degree is strongly preferred

Familiarity with basic ITIL procedures
