Responsibilities

Create apparel production patterns using Gerber CAD system

Fabric and material management: Determine the best layout of pattern pieces to minimize fabric waste and calculate the amount of material needed

Fittings and adjustments: Participate in garment fittings, make necessary adjustments to the pattern to ensure proper fit and functionality, and provide fitting comments

Collaboration: Work closely with designers to interpret their vision and with production teams to ensure a seamless transition from pattern to finished product

Documentation and maintenance: Mark patterns with relevant information like style and size, and maintain and update pattern libraries and datasheets

Research and development: Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and technologies to improve quality and efficiency
