VP Strategic Finance
Confidential is a private-equity-backed, high-growth platform operating at the intersection of software, e-commerce, and services. They are seeking a Vice President of Strategic Finance to own the financial strategy that underpins their growth, driving capital allocation, evaluating growth initiatives, and supporting M&A.
Responsibilities
Define the Financial Strategy
Partner with the President and executive team to shape long-term strategy, annual plans, and performance metrics
Align financial planning, KPIs, and incentives with enterprise priorities
Lead Strategic Finance & Analytics
Own forecasting, scenario modeling, and business cases to support investments, pricing, and growth initiatives
Provide clear, data-driven recommendations on tradeoffs and resource allocation
Optimize Capital Allocation
Ensure capital is deployed efficiently across functions, products, and markets to maximize ROI and enterprise value
Establish frameworks to evaluate and prioritize initiatives at scale
Support M&A and Corporate Growth
Partner with Corporate Development on acquisition modeling, diligence, valuation, and post-deal integration
Assess expansion opportunities across new products, partnerships, and geographies
Drive Board and Investor Engagement
Lead financial storytelling for Board meetings, investor updates, and capital markets interactions
Serve as a trusted advisor to PE sponsors on performance, strategy, and value-creation initiatives
Build Scalable Financial Infrastructure
Develop best-in-class reporting, dashboards, and insights to support a growing, multi-channel business
Improve financial processes and systems to support scale and speed
Build and Lead the Team
Hire, develop, and mentor a high-performing strategic finance team
Foster a culture of analytical rigor, accountability, and business partnership
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, or corporate strategy
Proven track record partnering with C-suite executives and Boards in high-growth or PE-backed environments
Deep expertise in financial modeling, capital allocation, and investor-facing narratives
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complexity into clear strategic insight
Builder mindset—comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
Preferred
Experience in SaaS, wellness/health/digital, e-commerce, or consumer-enabled platforms strongly preferred
MBA preferred
