Responsibilities
Analyze statutes, regulations, case law, and develop legal strategies
Draft pleadings, discovery requests, legal memoranda, motions, briefs, etc
Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions and court appearances
Take and defend depositions and appear in court
Participate in settlement negotiations and mediation
Collaborate with senior attorneys on effective litigation strategy and filings
Investigate potential claims
Handle cases from inception through trial
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Licensed in PA and NJ
4–8 years of experience in complex litigation, particularly catastrophic personal injury matters
Demonstrated ability to manage complex litigation and meet deadlines under pressure
Strong writing skills
Proficiency in pleading, motion, and discovery practice
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated commitment to professionalism and ethical conduct
Preferred
Experience with serious injury cases on either the plaintiff or defense side
Experience with medical malpractice claims
