Responsibilities

Build and own HIFI’s People & Culture function from scratch
Partner closely with founders and leadership on hiring plans, org design, and headcount strategy
Lead end-to-end recruiting across engineering, GTM, compliance, and operations roles
Design onboarding, performance, feedback, and career development frameworks that actually scale
Be a trusted partner to employees - supporting growth, clarity, and accountability
Help define and reinforce HIFI’s culture as we grow quickly and globally
Own people operations fundamentals: compensation bands, benefits, policies, and compliance
Act as a cultural steward while balancing speed, rigor, and empathy

Required

3–5 years of experience in People, Talent, or Culture roles, ideally in high-growth startups
You've built or scaled teams before, not just maintained them
You're business-minded, founder-aligned, and comfortable operating with ambiguity
You're warm, direct, and trusted, people naturally come to you
You care deeply about culture, but you're pragmatic about execution
You want real ownership, not a narrow remit
Must be within a commutable distance from our office and able to work in person most days of the week
