Sr. Quality & Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes for manufacturing operations
Monitor production activities to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications
Investigate product and process non-conformances using tools such as 8D, Fishbone, and FMEA
Drive corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurring issues
Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and quality reports
Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines
Support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to improve process capability and reduce defects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes
Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and ensure incoming material meets specifications
Participate in supplier audits and qualification processes
Provide training to production teams on quality standards and best practices
Act as a technical resource for quality-related issues

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field
5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of quality tools (SPC, PPAP, APQP, MSA)
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards
Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving methodologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma certification
Knowledge of ERP systems and quality management software
Ability to lead projects and influence cross-functional teams
Team player / Teamwork mindset
Continuous improvement mindset
History of working in a fast paced environment
Ability to react to situations and communicate solutions to people with varying levels of product/ process knowledge
