Responsibilities
Provides software leadership, in area(s) of specialization, on medium to large size projects as required
Maintains understanding of user, project leader, and management direction and meets regularly to review project priorities and scope
Functions as a coach and mentor to team members to achieve workflow standardization and design across the organization
Stays abreast of technological advancements. Researches and recommends new tools and alternatives to improve access and efficiency within the organization
Coordinates and leads others in process of unit, functional, and integration testing
Leads discussion in team and departmental committees providing data and system governance
Develops, leads/coordinates conventions, standards, and procedures to improve departmental function
Follows current project management methodology and assures all team members to do the same
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree Information Sciences and Technology or Information Management related fields
Preferred work experience will be considered in lieu of degree
10 years Progressive experience in Information Management or Information Technology or a related Healthcare field
2 years direct build experience on current EHR system version
1 year Healthcare project management and budget management experience
Attention to detail and ability to assess business problems and develop feasible alternative solutions
Ability to work well in a team environment and to be self motivated and self disciplined
In depth knowledge of processes of assigned area(s) and applications
Effectively deals with multiple and changing priorities
Ability to complete projects with minimal supervision and/or direction
Must be able to visit multiple business and education locations. (Dependent on employment location)

EPIC - EPIC Certification - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
Preferred
Master's Degree Information Sciences and Technology or Information Management related fields
