Mid LevelVBeyond Corporation is seeking an SAP BO/BI Administrator to manage the SAP BusinessObjects/Business Intelligence platform lifecycle. The role involves ensuring high availability, disaster recovery readiness, and collaborating with development teams and business stakeholders for reliable BI services.

Responsibilities
Install, configure, patch, and upgrade BO/BI servers; manage server groups, nodes, clusters; administer CMC / BI Launchpad; enforce platform security and folder/project structures
Provision users and groups; set granular permissions; curate universes, connections (including DSN/TNS), and schedules; promote content across Dev/QA/Prod with proper approvals
Monitor services, jobs, and instances; analyze logs; tune platform and database connections for throughput and stability; support monthly/quarterly OS/DB patch windows
Design and maintain DR runbooks; define/validate RPO/RTO; implement backup/restore of CMS DB & Input/Output FRS; configure failover/failback; lead periodic DR drills and audit readiness
Lead content migrations (including large-scale waves); for inventory, movement, and regression validation
Work with Windows/Linux admins and DB teams; coordinate release/change windows; communicate outages and status updates clearly to stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on with SAP BO/BI 4.3 (SPs) and readiness for BI 2025
Expertise in CMC, LaunchPad, server clustering, scheduling, promotions, security
Proficient writing/optimizing complex SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL/MySQL)
Understanding of views, stored procedures, query tuning, and connection pooling
Practical experience creating DR plans, backups, recovery procedures, and executing DR tests
Familiarity with CMS repository design and FRS behaviors under failover
Working knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration for BO services
Clear stakeholder communication

Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent experience
SAP Business AI
Preferred
Admin familiarity with Tableau / Power BI (licensing, site/workspace setup, access governance, scheduling)
Certifications in SAP BO is beneficial
