Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety/environmental regulatory codes
Reinforce safety culture in line with Corporate GSS014 Contractor Safety Standard at every job site
Assist in developing and implementing systems to ensure compliance with all Safety and Health regulations
Conduct or assist with training, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), fall protection, and contractor safety orientations for new hires
Collaborate with Engineering/Maintenance to design and implement safety devices or work practices for new processes and equipment
Partner with Team Leaders/Section Supervisors/Managers to perform Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and implement required changes to operating procedures
Assist with Environmental & Safety audits, action plans, and follow-up
Lead daily tool box talks with contract trades organization

Required

10+ years of experience in an Environmental Health & Safety role
2-year technical degree or equivalent experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office for data collection and display
Understanding of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System
Demonstrated drive and commitment to creating and maintaining a safe work environment
Corning experience
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and solve complex problems

Preferred
