Mission Assurance Team Lead

Responsibilities

Mission Assurance Team Lead shall operate as the personnel responsible for the pre-assessment coordination requirements with AF/A3OB Mission Analyst and providing installation support for the development and publication of the All Hazards and Threat Assessment (AHTA) product in Enterprise Protection Risk Management (EPRM) and coordinating analysis of information gathered from applicable systems, orders, and plans as it relates to the mission focus of the assessment
This position working collaboratively with Support Staff are responsible for reporting to AF/A3OB on a regular basis
Coordinate with the government Team Chief (TC) to properly scope the assessment, providing inputs to the government TC to assist with the onsite coordination of the assessment, preparing and giving the onsite briefing, and preparing the final written report for delivery to the TC
Integrate all activities of a multidisciplinary team of highly qualified and senior subject matter specialists
Ensure that all of the following tasks are completed:
Pre-trip planning information gathered and properly distributed or coordinated
Logistical and administrative support provided and/or coordinated during all three assessment phases
Equipment management to ensure all equipment & materials are packed and ready to be shipped
Provide input and assistance to updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), and Points of Instructions (POIs)
Lead Design Reviews and Technical Support Projects
Integrate and prioritize mission vulnerabilities identified by the BSA Team Specialists; ensure proper synergy of technical data by the BSA Specialists as it impacts the mission
Coordinate program activates involving multiple Government agencies (internal and external)

Required

Bachelor's Degree and 15+ years of related assessment experience
Experience in at least one of the following areas: intelligence, strategic planning, system operations, force protection and/or risk management
An understanding of AF or DoD senior leader strategic thought processes
An understanding of AF or DoD budget and funding processes
Working knowledge of peer subject matter areas: cyberspace operations, cyber transport, adversarial operations, utilities, structural protection and response, weapons of mass destruction, emergency response, and physical security
Knowledgeable in DoD EM risk management processes such as the all-hazards threat assessment (AHTA) and capability assessment methodology
Understand the requirements of 1) Pre-Assessment Phase activities (e.g., Mission Analysis and Pre-Site Survey (PSS) work); 2) Assessment Phase activities to include onsite vulnerability and risk assessments; and 3) Post-Assessment Phase activities (e.g., Post Analysis, Report Writing, and MAJCOM follow-up, etc.)
Must have an Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
Must be able to travel up to 25% per year
Must have a valid US passport
