Responsibilities

Advance adoption of Amex debit capabilities
Develop thorough documentation regarding adoption dependencies and operationally sustainable processes to ensure consistent results
Manage adoption validation process
Create and expand relationships with key external debit partners
Collaborate broadly, sharing thought-leadership regarding US debit norms, roadmap and interoperability considerations
Build strong positive relationships within Amex, including network, issuing, legal, pricing, policy, technology, and relationship management teams
Maintain current knowledge about the payment services industry, debit and U.S. market trends, new & existing technologies, products & services

Required

1+ year experience in the processing, acquiring, and routing of U.S. debit cards
Sound analytical, problem-solving, data analysis, and project management skills
Strong work ethic and organizational ability, with high level of intellectual curiosity, initiative, drive, and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to guide, contribute, and execute strategies to deliver outcomes aligned to business goals in matrixed organizations
Proven ability to build, maintain, and leverage strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including industry partners
Track record of leading through change, leading and producing results with or without authority
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate and illustrate complex issues in a simple, non-technical manner
Potential travel required within U.S. (~10%)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience required
