Responsibilities
Lead a team of engineers through coaching, mentoring, feedback and hands-on career development
Support timely delivery of technical solutions to address business needs
Advocate and advance modern, agile engineering practices and help develop and evangelize great engineering and organizational practices
Reinforce a healthy, collaborative engineering culture
Grow the technical expertise of your team
Facilitate collaboration with other engineers, product managers, and designers to solve challenging problems that affect all Spotifiers
Qualification
Required
Experience leading software engineering teams or projects (e.g., mentoring junior engineers, setting technical direction, etc.)
Experience with the design of software systems
Experience working towards strategic goals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
You love developing and growing people and have experience in leading, coaching, or mentoring individuals and teams
You're passionate about software engineering best practices and love to have an impact on large-scale tech problems
You have proven experience working in an agile development environment with complicated and ambitious business requirements
You strive to build capabilities that deliver a great, safe and trusted experience, to our internal customers and to Spotify users across the world
