Responsibilities
Fabricate complex wire harnesses from schematics and wiring diagrams
Perform precision wire cutting, stripping, and crimping using industry-standard tools (e.g., Molex, TE, Amphenol)
Route and secure cabling within battery packs to ensure thermal and vibration safety
Troubleshoot open/short circuits and continuity issues in prototype harnesses
Perform soldering and rework on Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), including through-hole and surface mount components (0402 size and up)
Interface with the Battery Management System (BMS) for firmware flashing and validation
Assist in the installation of PCBs into mechanical housings, ensuring proper grounding and thermal interfacing
Handle lithium-ion cells (cylindrical, pouch, or prismatic) following strict safety protocols
Operate spot welding or laser welding equipment for cell interconnects
Apply Thermal Interface Materials (TIMs), epoxies, and structural adhesives during module assembly
Set up and operate battery cyclers (e.g., NHR, Chroma) and environmental chambers
Monitor and assist the inhouse testing work - Battery cycling, mechanical and thermal battery testing etc
Perform incoming quality control (IQC) on cells and electrical components
Qualification
