Law Practice
Responsibilities
Assist in prosecuting wage-and-hour and PAGA actions from inception through settlement or trial
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
Prepare for and take depositions, including defending depositions
Collaborate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and clients on case strategy and execution
Independently handle court appearances and tactical litigation tasks
Supervise and mentor 1–2 junior attorneys and paralegals
Support the Team Leader/Partner in advancing complex employment litigation matters
Qualification
Required
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active and good-standing membership with the California State Bar
4-6 years of experience in wage-and-hour class actions and PAGA representative actions
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Demonstrated leadership ability and experience managing junior team members
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
