Responsibilities

Supervise and work alongside the Pack-Out (tote filling) employees
Assure all pack-out employees comply with regulatory requirements as directed by the Plant Manager
Assure that all employees assigned to the pack-out area comply with Olam Peanut Shelling Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Preventive Controls, and all other Food Safety policies
Assure that all employees assigned to the pack-out area comply with the Olam Peanut Shelling Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) policy
Operate the filling controls of the Pack-Out scale
Assure the correct FSIS tags are used on the correct bags
Inspect bags prior to filling for filth and debris, rejecting any potentially contaminated bags
Record, document, and report to the Plant Manager any discrepancy to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs), or Preventive Controls
Perform routine sanitary functions to maintain Safe Food manufacturing guidelines and in accordance with the Master Sanitation Schedule
Work closely with maintenance personnel to keep equipment in standard operating condition
In conjunction with QC personnel, assist in testing, recording, and documenting the Pack-Out magnet efficiency
Ability to multi-task
Perform other duties as assigned
