Responsibilities

Lead process development: Design, validate, and implement new or improved manufacturing processes, equipment, and workflows

Drive continuous improvement: Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and statistical methods to reduce waste, variability, and cycle time

Own root cause analysis: Investigate production issues using structured problem solving tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, DMAIC)

Develop process documentation: Create and maintain SOPs, PFMEAs, control plans, and work instructions.)

Lead cross functional projects: Partner with Quality, R&D, Maintenance, and Operations to deliver process improvements and new product introductions

Optimize equipment performance: Specify, procure, and validate machinery; improve OEE and reliability

Support new product introduction: Translate product requirements into robust, scalable manufacturing processes

Analyze production data: Use SPC, capability studies, and data analytics to monitor and improve process performance

Ensure regulatory compliance: Maintain adherence to safety, environmental, and industry specific standards (ISO, FDA, AS9100, etc.)

Mentor junior engineers: Provide technical guidance and support skill development across the engineering team

Required

Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field

4-7 years of experience as a Manufacturing Process Engineer

Preferred

Expertise in Lean/Six Sigma methodologies; Green Belt or Black Belt preferred

Hands-on equipment experience: Process automation, robotics, machining, molding, assembly, or other relevant technologies

Proficiency in data analysis: Minitab, JMP, Python, or similar tools

Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems to support production planning and process tracking
